Amy Auletto, Ph.D. is an education policy researcher and evaluator with expertise in the K-12 educator workforce, survey design and analysis, and quantitative methodologies. She specializes in translating complex data into actionable insights that inform policy and practice.
Dr. Auletto has dedicated her career to conducting applied, collaborative research with education partners across the country. She has held leadership positions with the Northwestern Collaborative for Applied Research in Education (NCARE) at Northwestern University and the Utah Education Policy Center (UEPC) at the University of Utah, and previously served as a researcher with the Education Policy Innovation Collaborative (EPIC) at Michigan State University. In these roles, she designed and led a portfolio of projects using large-scale administrative data, surveys, interviews, and policy documents to answer pressing questions facing educational organizations.
Prior to her research career, Dr. Auletto was a middle school mathematics teacher in Detroit, an experience that continues to ground her work in practitioner realities.
Dr. Auletto holds a Ph.D. in Education Policy from Michigan State University. She earned her M.A. in Educational Studies, M.S.W., and B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor.
